Education
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Co-op Chemistry with Honours and a minor in Math Sciences in 2016 at the University of Guelph, where I was awarded an entrance scholarship.
Experience
I spent a year in 2013 as a Peer Helper with the Co-op and Career Services at the University of Guelph. I conducted 1-on-1 sessions with students to prepare resumes and cover letters and provided mock interview critiques. I researched career planning resources to design new web resources and delivered resume workshops for student leader camps as a part of the Gryphon summer camps. I have experience in research and development as a lab assistant, a Co-op research assistant, and a teaching assistant. As a teaching assistant, I instructed classes of up to 24 students in introductory chemistry. I have extensive knowledge of basic and advanced chemical terminologies. I can tailor my tutoring approach to suit the individual's learning tendencies and prepare learning materials for 1-on-1 sessions.
